The Providence Biltmore has been a Rhode Island landmark for nearly a century. Its iconic neon sign is a prominent feature of the Providence skyline. This project is a future proposal for the Biltmore signage. In the year 2038, the sign remains a symbol of civic pride, but also acts as an outward barometer of the hotel's occupancy (and hence the amount of revenue being generated for the city). These four animations depict the Biltmore during four states of occupancy: dormant, low, medium, and maximum capacity.
